Spotting Bat Activity In Your Attic
Bats hide in roof gaps. LaJaunie’s finds them early to stop colonies from moving in.
Common indicators that Bat Control have entered your home include:
- Spotting small, dark bat droppings collecting on attic insulation, window ledges, or below roofline entry points.
- Hearing light scratching, rustling, or high-pitched chirping in the attic or inside walls around dusk and before dawn.
- Noticing dark, greasy rub marks around soffit gaps, ridge vents, or fascia joints where bats repeatedly squeeze in and out.
- Discovering a strong ammonia-like odor from accumulated guano and urine in the attic or upper wall voids.
- Seeing bats emerge from eaves, gable vents, or chimney areas at sunset to begin feeding.
We perform an inspection-based assessment of the roofline, soffits, vents, attic, and other likely entry areas, then complete the exclusion so you can enjoy lasting peace of mind.
Bat exclusion services
Your home is protected from bat re-entry by a one-way door solution installed at active bat entry points. The one-way door lets bats exit and blocks them from returning, while exclusion seals close off access at the source. Protection extends across rooflines, eaves, vents, and other structural gaps with a 1-year warranty.
You get your home back without ongoing bat re-entry. Your bat control includes a 1-year warranty, with results tailored to your home after an inspection-based quote.
How we prevent bats from re-entering your home
-
How we work
We start our bat removal process with a detailed inspection to locate how the bats are getting in and to check the status of the colony, which is critical during the fall maternity season in Louisiana.
Our humane pest management approach involves installing a one-way door system, which allows the bats to exit your home naturally but prevents them from re-entering.
After confirming the colony has fully vacated, we complete the exclusion by permanently sealing every entry point we found; for example, we might use steel mesh to secure gaps near the roofline.
This complete bat extermination and exclusion work is backed by our one-year warranty, so you can have your peace of mind back.
