Spotting Carpenter Ant Activity
Carpenter ants tunnel into wood, damaging your home. Our experts track and destroy their hidden nests.
Common indicators that carpenter ants have entered your home include:
- Finding small piles of wood shavings (frass) near wooden structures
- Hearing faint rustling or clicking sounds coming from inside the walls
- Spotting large, dark-colored ants foraging in kitchens or bathrooms
- Seeing winged "swarmer" ants emerging from walls or ceilings
- Noticing moisture-damaged wood that feels soft or hollow to the touch
We track down hidden ant nests, treat the source, and make sure your house stays completely pest-free.
Preventive treatment
Your home is protected from carpenter ant nests by Carpenter Ant Control with a 5‑ft granular perimeter and base‑treatments. Bait uptake by foraging carpenter ants plus residuals in cracks, crevices and eaves halts colony expansion. Coverage treats doors, windows and 5‑ft vegetation for carpenter ants; re‑treat guarantee.
You get your home back from carpenter ants without paying for repeat visits. Carpenter ant control is covered under the standard plan, with a re-treat guarantee on every service and quarterly coverage from $49/month.
How we provide consistent carpenter ant protection
-
How we work
Our carpenter ant control process begins with a detailed inspection from our local pest experts, who know that as things warm up in the Louisiana fall, we need to look for tell-tale signs like wood shavings near window frames or in the attic to pinpoint the colony's source.
Next, our comprehensive pest management approach involves applying targeted treatments to the foundation, access points, and voids where ants are nesting to effectively handle the extermination.
Finally, we establish a preventative barrier around your property by treating eaves and overhangs, ensuring these destructive pests don't return and letting you feel comfortable in your home again.
